Very Chocolate Brownies

I made these for my son to share with his class for his birthday.  They are very chocolaty and moist and a Hit!  I adapted this recipe from an old clip I found for Baker’s One Bowl Brownies.

Very Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients

  • 4 (1 oz) squares Baker’s Unsweetened Chocolate
  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 1-1 1/2 to 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup dark ( or semi-sweet) chocolate chips

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Grease, Homemade Cake Release, 13×9 pan.  Heat chocolate and margarine in 1100 watt microwave 2 minutes.  Stir until chocolate until completely melted.  Stir desired amount sugar until dissolved. 

Stir in eggs and vanilla extract.  Mix in flour to incorporate.  Stir in chocolate chips.  Spread brownie batter in greased 13×9 pan.  Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out almost clean.  Do not over cook.  Cool in pan and Enjoy!
