Perfect for Father’s Day or any ole day at all! It’s easy to make this old recipe for Easy Peach Cobbler or Lazy Man’s Cobbler. Use any fruit, fresh or frozen, and make those special to you feel special.
Easy Peach Cobbler
ingredients
4 to 6 cups fresh and/or frozen peaches, sliced, chunks or diced
1 cup flour
1 – 1/2 cups sugar, divided
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 egg
6 Tablespoons margarine, melted and cooled
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray 10×8″ or 8×8″ pan. Peel fresh peaches and slice or cut up peaches. Heat half peaches, fresh or frozen, with 1/2 cup sugar until thickened. Add remaining peaches, cook another 5 minutes. Pour peaches in greased pan.
Whisk dry ingredients, stir in egg until mixture is coarse and crumbly. Sprinkle over hot peaches. Drizzle with melted and cooled margarine. Cook in preheated oven 25 to 35 minutes or until light brown and bubbly. Check after 20 minutes and cover with foil to prevent topping from getting too brown. Top each serving with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Enjoy!
