This Chocolate Sour Cream Bread is very moist, not too sweet and will satisfy your craving for chocolate cake!
Double Chocolate Sour Cream Bread
ingredients
1 – 1/2 cup King Arthur all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup Nestle Cocoa
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
3 eggs
1 cup Daisy Sour Cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup Nestle Special Dark Chocolate Chips or your favorite, chopped fine
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Spray 9×5 loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.  Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and Nestle Cocoa.  Remove 2 Tablespoons and toss with finely chopped Nestle Dark Chocolate Chips, put aside. Â
Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Â Add vanilla and eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Â Alternately add flour and sour cream, mix well. Â Sir in chocolate chips. Â Put batter in prepared loaf pan. Â Cook 45 to 55 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Â Cool in pan on cooling rack 15 minutes. Â
Remove from pan and cool completely. Â Top with powdered sugar, whipped topping and fresh fruit or ganache. Â Enjoy!
