We love Red Lobster Cheese Biscuits! Hubby has been wanting these forever and I have finally gotten around to appease him.
Cheddar Garlic Biscuits
- 2 1/2 cups biscuit mix
- 1/4 cup margarine, cold, grated
- 3/4 cup Daisy Sour Cream
- 1/3 teaspoon ground garlic
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 3 Tablespoons margarine, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon ground garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Whisk biscuit mix and garlic. Add grated margarine and cut in mix with fork or pastry blender until small pea size, smaller is okay. Blend in sour cream then cheese. Gently roll into the a ball the size of an plum. Flatten just a bit…or not. Put on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 9 to 11 minutes until done and starting to turn golden brown.
While baking…melt 3 Tablespoons margarine in microwave for 20 seconds..stir. Heat an additional 5 to 10 seconds if needed. Margarine may not melt until stirred. Add garlic and parsley. Stir. Brush biscuits once out of the oven. Enjoy!
