Kyvan products are made with soul and amazing ingredients that are from the heart. Being a Southern girl, born and raised, I can relate to the love being poured into each bottle of Kyvan’s products. Into each recipe made and shared with family and friends, their is a comfort that says home. Kyvan is owned by Pro NFL player Reggie Kelly.
You can find out about Reggie, Kyan’s products and how it all fits with faith, family, love of comforting food and community. I tried Kyvan’s wonderful Sweet BBQ Sauce and was truly delighted! It is great on everything from classic BBQ Chicken and Pulled Pork to Sheila’s BBQ Crock Pot Spaghetti and all the dips and sides you can think of, in-between! I decided to try it on bacon, among so many other recipes.
My oldest ate it by the handful, used it to top pizza, while I added it to bacon ranch potato salad and BBQ Bacon Ranch Dip. Anyway you use Kyvan’s products, you will definitely #appreciatethegoodness!

BBQ Bacon Dip
ingredients
- 1 cup Kyvan’s Sweet BBQ Sauce
- 12 to 16 oz bacon
- 2 – 8 oz block cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, seeded; halved, quartered or chopped and patted dry
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 to 1 cup cheese, finely grated
- pepper and salt to taste
- your favorite toppings
Directions:
Cook bacon according to directions. Once crisp, brush with Kyvan’s Sweet BBQ Sauce and return to heat source 2 to 3 minutes, watching carefully to avoid burning. Chop or dice and put aside. Spread cream cheese on bottom of pie plate or serving platter. Top with 1/2 cup Kyvan’s Sweet BBQ Sauce. Swirl knife to cut BBQ in cream cheese. Top with tomatoes, bell pepper then BBQ Bacon. Top with finely grated cheese. Serve with pita or other hearty chips. Refrigerate any leftovers..although, I doubt there will be any. Enjoy!
Note: All measurements can be changed to suit your needs. Add more bell pepper and less tomatoes. Add diced sweet onions, black olives of another meat. Play with the combinations to make your own amazing BBQ Dip!
