Tropical Pineapple Pops In A Cup

We had fun this morning making Tropical Pineapple Pops In A Cup.  The only thing was the wait! 

Tropical Pineapple Pops In A Cup

  • 1 large can of Crushed Pineapple, drained saving juice
  • 1 box of Island Pineapple Jello
  • 2/3 cup of Sweetened Koolaid Tropical Punch Drink Mix
  • Enough water to make two cups added to pineapple juice
  • 3 or 5 oz paper cups
  • craft sticks
  • foil

Drain pineapple saving juice.  Add enough water to make 2 cups and boil.  Disolve jello with liquid.

Chop 2/3 can of the pineapple in your mini chopper or food processor to make it fine.  (I only had chunks so had to process mine..maybe the crushed will be small enough)  Mix well with koolaid.

Add jello to koolaid and pineapple.  Mix well.  Ladel into small cups.  Place a small square of foil on top with a small slit in the middle.  Insert craft stick and WAIT!  Kids really loved this and they were fun to make. 

*NOTE*  Very sweet for me but My Boys loved them.  Maybe use an unsweetened jello next time will cut down on the sugar but not enough to make a difference.
